Davidson Takes The Avian Medicine
Scotland's largest independent chain of chemists' shops, Davidsons, has appointed Avian, the Dundee-based integrated marketing agency to undertake a makeover of its corporate image. They have also been commissioned to develop their advertising and brochureware.
Davidsons began with a single store in Blairgowrie in 1897 and has grown to have over 26 shops and four veterinary outlets.
In addition to its retail customers, Davidson's also serves patients in the community and care homes in the north east of Scotland. The company currently enjoys the patronage of the Queen and the Prince of Wales.

Avian has been charged with redeveloping the current brand and creating an effective advertising campaign that build's on Davidson's reputation as tried and trusted independent retailer but also emphasises the company's continuing investment latest innovation and technical advances in pharmacy and patient care.
