Barr appoint Avian to develop marketing suite for major push

Barr one of the UK's largest construction companies, who's clients include retail giant Tesco, have appointed Avian to develop a suite of marketing material.

Barr's plans for growth include increasing exposure particularly in England and developing board room name recognition. To that end they are looking for design that will achieve cut through in a highly competitive market.

John Callander, Barr's Marketing Manager said " key for us was to ensure that whilst looking for standout in the market place we also preserved the company's brand values particularly for delivery of high quality workmanship."

Avian will be required to work across promotional print, direct mail, advertising and the redevelopment of the company's website.

Callander went on "We invited a number of agencies to present solutions that would give us the suite of flexible, updateable marketing products and Avian's solution stood out above the other nine agencies.

Scott McCallum Avian's Client Services Director commented "Barr are a great Scottish brand and the challenge they have set us sits at the heart of our skill set covering, brand identity, design, advertising and web development. Our solution we believe will generate the name recognition that Barr's are looking for south of the border".
