Avian have moved

Avian, the Dundee integrated marketing agency, have moved into spectacular new premises on Monday 23 June 2008. This very successful agency has grown rapidly over the last few years, last year its turnover increased to £2.4m and the digital division saw revenues grow by 53%. New client wins combined with a high number of new personnel means they have outgrown their home in the west of the city.

Avian's new home is the old Congregational Church in Broughty Ferry which first opened its doors in 1864. The church's cross was blown off in the same storm that brought down the Tay Bridge in 1879. However it has been closed to worshippers in recent years.

Local architectural practice Artx has redesigned the space for the agency. It has been a major task to renovate and modernise the building in time for the opening in June 2008.

This is an important boost to the local Dundee economy bringing new jobs and investment to the area and the regeneration of a much loved landmark in Broughty Ferry.

Scott McCallum the agency's client Services Director said "This has come about because of the need to give our clients more of the great services that they are already experiencing, combined with a stimulating environment for all our staff to work in. We switched off on Friday in the Technology Park and picked up on the Monday in Broughty Ferry!"

George Gall the Managing Director added "We are delighted because this provides a great new working environment. The growth of the company has come about by delivery of outstanding marketing and great service by a great team. It is thanks to our clients that we have been able to grow.
