Proctor Group site goes live
The A. Proctor Group, the Blairgowrie based manufacturer of specialist construction products and services, announced the launch of its new website this week.
The site, has been created to respond to the demands of specifiers who no longer want to refer to large printed product manuals, but require up to the minute details at the click of a mouse.
As well as a complete redesign of the look and feel and reorganisation of the navigation for an easier user experience, the site features a server side pdf system that ensures that any data inputted into the database refreshes all relevant content on the website and related pdfs, thus ensuring that only the most up to date product details are available to the company's clients and sales prospects.
Allan Proctor the present Managing Director said " We are delighted with the new site and the reduction in costs and time this will save Proctors and our customers. We will no longer need to print and store expensive manuals nor will there be a delay as we respond to requests by post, our clients will be able to download the latest product details into their in box instantly."
Additional features include integration of sales and data requests into the company's CRM system that over time will build into a powerful sales tool. There is also a live online technical help desk so that clients can get immediate help with any product specific problems they may have.
